PowerSecure’s 12.5MW microgrid for Aligned Data Center (ADC) provided a true turnkey example of distributed generation. With in-house engineering, manufacturing, integration and installation, PowerSecure’s reliability ranks highest in the business.
PowerSecure’s comprehensive, full-service approach afforded focus on the most critical operational aspects of the mircrogrid with the ability to monitor and service the system 24/7, control and dispatch generating assets, energy storage resources and load assets as needed to optimize the microgrid’s performance.
Through Interactive Distributed Generation® (IDG), PowerSecure’s all-encompassing method to demand response and standby power requirements provided ADC 100 percent standby power with N+4 redundancy.
PowerSecure’s IDG asset established seamless paralleling between ADC and their provided utility to enhance grid stability and peak load management.
The provided integrated solutions by PowerSecure included five Teir 4 Final PowerBlock® generation systems. The uniquely modular PowerBlocks included power ratings from 600kW to 3125kW with the flexibility to add additional power over time.
Though completed in April 2016, PowerSecure’s partnership with and Aligned Data Center continues to excel in reliability, resiliency, scalability and flexibility.
